By donating your earned miles to a Hawaii charity, you can support important local causes in a meaningful way. Your contribution can help make a difference in protecting coral reefs, perpetuating Hawaiian traditions, granting wish experiences for a child with a critical illness, assisting medical travel and so much more.
At the end of every year, Hawaiian Airlines matches up to 500,000 miles to each participating charity. Not only does your donation of miles go directly to the nonprofit, but it also contributes to a larger annual goal.

Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project
Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project (MFBRP) is dedicated to the recovery of Maui’s endangered birds, like the kiwikiu, and their habitats through the research, development and application of conservation techniques. MFBRP has a small year-round staff and otherwise relies on volunteers and charitable support to keep operations running. Donated HawaiianMiles support interisland collaborations.

Special Olympics Hawaii
As Hawaii’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities, Special Olympics Hawaii has served more than 6,000 athletes since 1968. Throughout the year, the organization delivers 10 Olympic-types sports and 50 competitions, providing continuing opportunities for children and young adults. Donated HawaiianMiles ensure that participants can attend events across the Islands.

Keiki needing specialized care find support at Shriners Hospital for Children in Honolulu, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. The famed hospital serves children from around the Pacific Basin for a wide range of pediatric orthopedic conditions, from fracture care and prosthetics to surgery and rehabilitation. Donated HawaiianMiles help provide travel assistance for children seeking high-quality medical treatment.

Hawaiian Humane Society
Founded by King Kalakaua and concerned citizens in 1883, the Hawaiian Humane Society has long been recognized as a prominent advocate for animal welfare in the Islands. It's deeply committed to the human-animal bond, facilitating adoptions and short-term foster care with fees waived for senior pets. Donated HawaiianMiles allows the organization to fly shelter animals to their forever homes.
