Kona International Airport Maps (KOA) 

Aloha! Kona International Airport is the primary airport on the island of Hawaii.  It serves international, overseas and interisland flights.  KOA is located in West Hawaii in Keahole.  This Hawaii Big Island airport serves Leeward, or Western Hawaii island, including the town of Kailua-Kona and the major resorts of the North Kona and South Kohala districts.  Kona International is the only remaining major airport in the Hawaiian Islands where a mobile ramp is used to plane and de-plane passengers.  It is also the only outdoor international airport.  Use the Kona airport maps below to navigate the services you need.

KOA is accessible by car, taxi and shuttle.  The Hawaii County Mass Transit Agency Hele-On bus operates a very limited service between the airport and Kailua-Kona town.
