Second Annual - September 6–9

Co-founded by two of Hawaii's own James Beard Award-winning chefs, Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong, the second annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival will be held on the island of Oahu from September 6th–September 9th. This premier epicurean event in the Pacific features over 50 internationally-renowned master chefs, including Hawaiian Airlines' Executive Chef Chai Chaowasaree.

Kicking off the festival, “Enter the MODERN Dragon: Morimoto and Friends”, located at The MODERN Honolulu will build on Hawaii unique location where East meets West. In Chinese Astrology, 2012 is the Year of the Dragon, the most powerful and auspicious of the 12 animal signs, bringing high energy and prosperity. Led by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, “Enter the MODERN Dragon” will showcase food prepared by twelve of the most esteemed international chefs from Asia and the Pacific.
