Travel Waiver for Ohana by Hawaiian Service Suspension

Oct. 9, 2020, 3:00 P.M. HST

We announced in a press release on Oct. 9, 2020 that we will be suspending Ohana by Hawaiian passenger and cargo services effective Nov. 1, 2020.

If you’d like to make changes to an existing reservation for an Ohana by Hawaiian flight departing or arriving in Molokai (MKK) or Lanai (LNY) starting on or after Nov. 1, 2020, we’ve issued a travel waiver with the following options:

  • Request a refund
Refunds will be provided for unused or partially used tickets with travel dates starting on or after Nov. 1, 2020. No penalties or fees will be charged if you request a refund.

  • Reschedule your flight at no additional cost
If you’d like to reschedule your flight to new dates for travel between Oct. 9-31, 2020, we’ll waive any applicable fare difference on the same city pair for travel and same cabin of service. As part of our new policy which began Sept. 3, 2020, change fees have been eliminated and will also not be charged.

  • Cancel your flight and use the value as credit towards a new ticket
Cancel your flight now and you’ll keep the unused value of the ticket until the ticket expires*. Upon rebooking a new flight, no change fees will be charged, but a fare difference may apply.

*Tickets purchased before March 1, 2020 remain valid until May 31, 2022. Tickets purchased on or after March 1, 2020 will remain valid for up to two years from the original ticket purchase date.
