Flight Attendant Recruitment

We are pleased to announce that Hawaiian Airlines will conduct interviews in Los Angeles, CA (Friday, August 11 – Tuesday, August 15, 2017) for candidates who wish to attend Flight Attendant training from Sunday, October 8, 2017 – Saturday, November 25, 2017 in Honolulu, HI. The Flight Attendant positions are based in Honolulu, HI. The class dates and details are subject to change based on operational needs.

Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to interview based on the date and time of their application. We encourage interested candidates to apply early!

We continue to recruit for Japanese and Korean-speaking candidates to attend the same training class, October 8 – November 25, 2017, in Honolulu. Candidates must be able to speak, read and translate Japanese or Korean, and be equally proficient in English.

Eligibility Summary:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Requires two years of direct customer experience in the hospitality or airline industry OR 4 years of customer contact and customer service issue resolution with the public in industries such as retail, education, health care, and/or professional services.
  • New applicants and individuals who attended an onsite interview for the Flight Attendant position prior to August 2016 will be considered for the position.
  • New applicants and individuals who were released from Flight Attendant training or probation prior to August 2012 will also be considered for the position.

Same as non-language qualified, PLUS:
  • Ability to proficiently read, speak and translate Japanese or Korean. Reading proficiency includes the reading of Japanese characters (Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana) or Korean characters (Hangul).

Bilingual interviews will be conducted and a language proficiency assessment will be administered as part of the interview process.
