Travel waiver for Tropical Cyclone 15 in Japan

As Tropical Cyclone 15 approaches Japan and creates concerns for disruptions in travel this weekend, we’ve issued a travel waiver for Hawaiian Airlines flights to/from Haneda, Narita and Kansai airports between Sept. 23 – 24, 2022 HST.

• Reschedule your flight at no additional cost:
  If you are departing Japan between Sept. 24 – 25, 2022 JST or departing Hawaii bound for Japan between Sept. 23 – 24, 2022 HST, you can reschedule your flight to new dates, no change fees will be charged, and we’ll waive any applicable fare difference on the same city pair for travel and same cabin of service. Tickets must be rebooked and travel must recommence by Oct. 11, 2022 HST.


• Cancel your flight and use the value as credit towards a new ticket:
  Cancel your flight now and you’ll keep the unused value of the ticket until the ticket expires*. Upon rebooking a new flight, no change fees will be charged, but a fare difference may apply.
  
  *Tickets expire 1 year from the original date of purchase, however we have several COVID-19 travel waivers in effect that have varying expiration dates. See full details here.
