The Honolulu Festival is Hawaii’s premier cultural event of the year, promoting a mutual understanding, economic cooperation and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region.
The festival attracts thousands of new and returning spectators looking for a unique experience in Hawaii, and showcases the rich and vibrant blend of Asia, Pacific, and Hawaiian cultures.
Event includes diverse cultural performances, vibrant music, dance, food, a craft fair with more than 100 booths, and fireworks show in Waikiki and culminates with a spectacular parade — complete with floats, performers and cultural groups — down Kalakaua Avenue, through Waikiki.
The Grand Parade received the Legacy Award from the city of Honolulu in 2017.
Admission is free to all events.
