50th Annual Ukulele Festival

{{ msToDate('7/19/2020 12:00:00 AM') | date:'mediumDate'}} · Waikiki, Oahu

Event Details

Follow the sound of the music swirling the tops of ironwood and monkey pod trees at the base of Diamond Head to Kapiolani Park and the irresistible charm of the ukulele — an icon of aloha.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., enjoy music played by a star-studded lineup of internationally known musicians, local celebrities, and an ukulele orchestra of more than 800 students, mostly children, who take the stage to delight the crowd.

You might also learn to play Hawaii’s most celebrated instrument with some free ukulele lessons.

Ukulele Festival Hawaii is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to preserving the interest and spreading the joy of the ukulele, with free lessons, community events, college scholarships and donations to the underprivileged.
