Event Details

Each year in November, Kona coffee’s world-renowned reputation along with the unique coffee-grower cultural heritage is spotlighted at the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival.

The story of Kona coffee’s traditions is shared with residents and visitors during this 10-day festival celebrating the local harvest of this most favorite crop.

Coffee is an economic mainstay of Kona, where generations of farmers continue the tradition with every harvest.

Known for its rich, full body flavor, Big Island coffee trees thrive on the island’s rich volcanic soil and perfect climatic conditions.

Festival events include a self-guided tour of a coffee farm, a parade, the Kona Coffee Half Marathon, a Kona coffee recipe contest, tasting and more.
