Doug and Genna Wolkon transformed four acres of pasture in Kilauea, Kauai, into an organic Eden with 85 different kinds of plants, most of them herbs used in therapeutic products made on-site.
On the Medicinal Herb Garden Experience, you’ll explore Kauai Farmacy’s permaculture garden and nursery; learn the art of tea making and herbal medicine; and watch gardeners perform tasks such as planting, mulching, harvesting, propagating and building garden beds.
A highlight for many guests is sampling fresh herbs in the garden and trying the salves, spices, balms, hydrosols, powders, tinctures and several varieties of tea in the Tea Lanai and Farm Store.
