After entertaining the Valley Isle for almost two decades, the Maui Film Festival is still known for its special focus on uplifting and thought-provoking documentaries and feature films.
Attracting a glittering constellation of stars to Maui each June (celebrity guests have included Clint Eastwood, Andrew Garfield, and Olivia Wilde), favorite venues include the Castle Theater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, and the outdoor Celestial Cinema in Wailea, where families lounge on picnic blankets and watch movies under the stars.
