The sprawling Waikiki resort has live music nightly at two of its bars: Tropics and the Tapa Bar.

Don’t miss the talented Nohelani Cypriano on Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and again on Fridays from 8 to 10:30 p.m. at Tropics; renown Hawaii trio Olomana on Fridays at the Tapa Bar from 8 to 11 p.m. and the legendary Henry Kapono at Tropics on Saturdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

The artists that perform at the hotel are known for their instrumental prowess, original lyrics and deftly integrating traditional and contemporary Hawaiian musical styles. Many have even won Na Hoku Hanohano Awards (They’ve been called the Grammy Awards for Hawaiian music.)
