Changing your flight

To change a flight to a different date or destination, first pull up your trip on HawaiianAirlines.com by clicking on “Manage Flights” and selecting “My Trips”. Enter your confirmation code or ticket number and your last name. If your flight can be changed online, you will see a “Change flight” button. Click that button and follow the instructions to change your flight.

If you do not see the option to change your flight when you pull up your trip on HawaiianAirlines.com, your flight is not eligible to be changed online and you will need to call our Reservations Department toll-free at 1-800-367-5320 for further assistance.

Although there are no change fees for tickets purchased in Main Cabin or First/Business Class, a fare difference may apply if the rescheduled flight exceeds the value of the original ticket price. See our Fare Rules and List of All Fees for more details on change restrictions and charges.

What types of flights can be changed on the online via HawaiianAirlines.com?

Flights that can be changed on the web are one-way and round trip booked on HawaiianAirlines.com in US dollars. Flights purchased using HawaiianMiles or with an Extra Comfort or Preferred seat cannot be changed online at this time.

Can one passenger on a ticket with multiple passengers change their flight?

No, all passengers on a ticket must be changes. To change a flight for one person on a ticket with multiple passengers, you will need to call our Reservations Department toll-free at 1-800-367-5320 for further assistance.

Can I select a new seat when changing a flight online?

You can view the seat map on the Flight Results page under “View Seats” so you can see what seats are available, but you will not be able to make your seat selection until after your flight has been changed. You will be able to select a new seat in My Trips once the flight change has been completed.

Can I use a gift card or travel voucher to pay for any amount owed on my new flight?

Gift cards and travel vouchers cannot be used as a payment method for flight changes at this time.

Can I change from a main cabin ticket to a first class ticket?

Yes, you may upgrade to first class when changing your flight. You will be provided with the fare difference for the first class cabin during the flight change process.

Are there additional charges to change a reservation made via travel agency or another website?

Changes cannot be made for any booking that was not purchased directly from Hawaiian Airline. Please contact the travel agency or other website directly to make changes or to learn about any associated charges under their terms and conditions.

Can I change a booking that was previously changed?

Yes, a previously changed booking can be changed multiple times, however a fare difference may apply.

Can I change my flight using the Hawaiian Airlines mobile app?

Yes, you can change your flight on the mobile app by tapping the "Manage Flight" link.
