If you would like to upgrade your existing reservation to First/Business Class, please contact Hawaiian Airlines Reservations for assistance. Please note, only revenue tickets are eligible.

Confirmed upgrades to First/Business class subject to applicable fare difference. If changing date/flight number, applicable fare difference and change feechange fee applies.

Upgrade your existing reservations with HawaiianMiles

If you would like to use your hard earned HawaiianMiles for a First/Business class upgrade, contact Hawaiian Airlines Reservations for assistance. The following restriction applies to HawaiianMiles upgrades:

• HawaiianMiles upgrades must be completed no later than 26 hours prior to scheduled departure.
• Only revenue tickets are eligible for upgrades using miles.

Mileage Upgrade Prices

We offer two types of mileage upgrades to First/Business class.

• First/Business Saver - the lowest mileage First/Business Class flight award we offer
• First/Business Flex - twice the miles of a First/Business Saver award (offered when First/Business Saver is not available)

All awards are one way flight awards and are based on availability.

Pualani Platinum, Pualani Gold, and Hawaiian Airlines® MasterCard® holders have access to additional discounted flight awards for travel on Hawaiian Airlines. These members may login to view discounts.

*Stopovers not permitted. Award levels based on redemption from a single account. U.S. citizens traveling to an international destination must present return ticket at time of check-in.

Day of departure upgrades

As of April 18, 2023, the ability to purchase an upgrade into First/Business Class will be temporarily unavailable via web, mobile or kiosk. Please see a guest services agent at the airport for assistance. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Upgrade your existing reservation to First/Business Class within 24 hours up until the minimum check-in time prior to departure via a guest services agent at the airport. Please note that an upgrade fee will apply.

Day of Departure upgrades are offered on a space-available basis.

Pualani Platinum and Pualani Gold members enjoy an Upgrade discount (applies to member only) on flights within the State of Hawaii, as well as between Hawaii and North America, applicable to upgrades purchased within the United States (excluding American Samoa).
