Travel waiver for Hurricane Hilary

Due to disruptions expected from Hurricane Hilary a travel waiver has been issued for flights to/from Southern California airports between Aug. 20-21, 2023 HST.

• Reschedule your flight at no additional cost:
  If you are traveling on Hawaiian Airlines to/ from Los Angeles (LAX), Long Beach (LGB), Ontario (ONT) and San Diego (SAN) airports between Aug. 20-21, 2023 HST, you can reschedule your flight to new dates, no change fees will be charged, and we’ll waive any applicable fare difference on the same city pair for travel and same cabin of service. Tickets must be rebooked into the same compartment (Main Cabin or Business Cabin) by Aug. 27, 2023, and travel must recommence by Aug. 31, 2023 HST.


• Cancel your flight and use the value as credit towards a new ticket:
  If you are traveling on Hawaiian Airlines to/ from Los Angeles (LAX), Long Beach (LGB), Ontario (ONT) and San Diego (SAN) airports between Aug. 20-21, 2023 HST, you can cancel your flight now and you’ll keep the unused value of the ticket until the ticket expires*. Upon rebooking a new flight, no change fees will be charged, but a fare difference may apply.
