Travel waiver for Kona travel due to runway closure

A travel waiver is available for guests traveling to/from Kona International Airport (KOA) on April 12, 2024 due to runway closure.

• Reschedule your flight at no additional cost:
  Guests traveling on Hawaiian Airlines to/ from Kona International Airport (KOA) on April 12, 2024 can reschedule their flights to new dates. No change fees will be charged, and we’ll waive any applicable fare difference on the same city pair for travel and same cabin of service. Tickets must be rebooked into the same compartment (Main Cabin or First/Business Cabin) and travel must occur by April 16, 2024. Itineraries with travel outside of these periods would not be eligible for waiver of a fare difference.


• Cancel your flight and use the value as credit towards a new ticket:
  Guests traveling on Hawaiian Airlines to/ from Kona International Airport (KOA) on April 12, 2024 can cancel their flights now and keep the unused value of the ticket until the ticket expires*. Upon rebooking a new flight, no change fees will be charged, but a fare difference may apply.
  
  *Tickets must be booked and flown within 1 year of the original date of purchase.
