Koa Pancake House

Quick and simple island breakfast

Opened in 1988 as a mom and pop breakfast eatery, Il Man and Sam Soon Chung have now reached out across the island with seven locations island wide.

Taking the reins in 2014, Juno Chung, son of the duo, plans to bring island style breakfast and lunch to patrons throughout the country.

For now, while you’re on the island of Oahu, try some of their local favorites such as the classic loco moco (a delicious ground beef patty and egg with gravy) over fried rice or a local favorite Portuguese sausage, eggs and rice.

For something more fitting to the name of the restaurant, try some of their specialty pancakes such as the Oreo pancake, the red velvet pancake or even the strawberry cheesecake pancake.
