On Oct. 1, 2025, HawaiianMiles will fully transition into the new program. Your miles and status will come along, too, and their values won’t change. Beginning September 26, you will not be able to log in to HawaiianMiles as we migrate accounts.

You don’t need to take any action. On Oct. 1, 2025, a new account will be created for you in Atmos Rewards. Your HawaiianMiles account information, miles, elite qualifying miles and status will automatically transfer to the new account. Miles will move over at a 1:1 ratio, and you’ll receive the equivalent elite status.

The HawaiianMiles program and its benefits will remain unchanged through Sept. 30, 2025, and you may continue to enjoy your Pualani Elite, Premier Club, Huaka‘i by Hawaiian and Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Mastercard® benefits as before.
On Oct. 1, 2025, HawaiianMiles will fully transition into Atmos Rewards. While the HawaiianMiles branding will phase out, your miles, status, Huaka‘i by Hawaiian benefits and credit card benefits will automatically come along. -
Yes, you may continue to earn HawaiianMiles as usual through September 30. On October 1, the HawaiianMiles program will fully transition to Atmos Rewards, and the miles you’ve accumulated will be preserved and transferred at a 1:1 ratio. Atmos Rewards points do not expire.

On October 1, HawaiianMiles transitions to Atmos Rewards. Here’s what that means for current HawaiianMiles members.
Your HawaiianMiles account will transition to Atmos Rewards.- Your Atmos Rewards number is your former Alaska Mileage Plan number. If you do not have an Alaska Mileage Plan number or if you have an Alaska Mileage Plan number but do not link it with your HawaiianMiles account by September 26, a new Atmos Rewards number will be created for you. Your HawaiianMiles number will no longer be used.
- Your miles will automatically be transferred to Atmos Rewards points, at a 1:1 ratio.
- Your Pualani Elite status will automatically be transferred to the equivalent status in Atmos Rewards.
- Premier Club members will automatically be awarded Atmos Silver status.
- Current reservations for travel after September 30 will automatically be updated with your Atmos Rewards number.
- For new bookings that are for travel on or after October 1, please be sure to use your Atmos Rewards number. Your HawaiianMiles number will no longer be valid.
How HawaiianMiles members should prepare

Mahalo for linking accounts. You’re prepared for the transition on October 1. We will track your elite-qualifying miles (now called status points in Atmos Rewards) in both programs and award status in HawaiianMiles and Atmos Rewards based on your combined balance, however your EQMs won't actually be moved from HawaiianMiles to Atmos until October 1. Because you linked accounts, you’ve ensured the most seamless access to your miles on October 1.
You are welcome to convert your HawaiianMiles miles to Atmos Rewards points at any point. On October 1, any miles you, and your HawaiianMiles EQMs earned year to date will be moved over as well. -

- Pualani Elite benefits will continue through Sept. 30, 2025, including the redemption of Platinum upgrade certificates.
- Huaka‘i by Hawaiian and Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Mastercard® discount codes may be redeemed with reservations. If you would like to book your flight using one of these promo codes, you may contact Reservations for assistance at 1-800-367-5320.
- All other Huaka‘i by Hawaiian and Hawaiian Airlines® World Elite Mastercard® benefits will continue to operate as normal during this time period, including free checked bag benefits.

Yes, to earn HawaiianMiles on Hawaiian Airlines-operated flights, continue to use your HawaiianMiles number on your reservations, and you will earn HawaiianMiles through Sept. 30, 2025. You may book on either HawaiianAirlines.com or AlaskaAir.com. After Sept. 30, 2025, miles will accrue in Atmos Rewards.

Simply use the frequent flier number associated with the airline that you are flying. For example, if you are flying on Hawaiian Airlines or a HawaiianMiles partner, use your HawaiianMiles number. If you are flying on Alaska or an Alaska Global partner, use your Atmos Rewards number.

From now through Sept. 25, 2025 you’ll continue to be able to use HawaiianMiles for Hawaiian Airlines flights. From Sept. 26–30, 2025, redeeming miles for award flights will be unavailable on HawaiianAirlines.com or via the HawaiianMiles Service Center. You may continue to redeem miles for First Class/Business Class upgrades on Hawaiian Airlines operated flights through Sept. 25. Upgrades with points (miles) will be unavailable in Atmos Rewards. However you may still redeem points for a First Class ticket or pay for an upgrade. And if you are a status holder, you’ll be eligible for complimentary First Class upgrades based on availability on all Alaska flights beginning October 1, and for complimentary upgrades on Hawaiian flights beginning in the spring.

You will continue to earn elite status based on your accumulated elite qualifying miles (called status points in Atmos Rewards) within the calendar year. Your HawaiianMiles status will be matched to the equivalent status in Atmos Rewards, and if your combined elite qualifying miles/status points in HawaiianMiles and Atmos Rewards qualify you for a higher status, you’ll receive that higher status. Although Atmos Rewards doesn’t currently award status based on segments flown, HawaiianMiles members as of Jan. 1, 2025 will continue to be able to qualify for status based on the total segments flown on Hawaiian operated flights in 2025, even if their elite qualifying miles don’t meet the minimum criteria for status. Eligible members will receive Atmos Silver status with 30 segments flown in calendar year 2025, or Atmos Gold status with 60 segments flown in calendar year 2025. -
HawaiianMiles Pualani Elites and Premier Club members will continue to have access to Premier Clubs when traveling on Hawaiian Airlines through September 30, 2025.

On October 1, available Platinum upgrade certificates will be converted into upgrade certificates within Atmos Rewards at a 1:1 ratio. They will be available for use on both Hawaiian and Alaska operated flights. More information will be shared on how to redeem on either carrier.
Converted upgrade certificates will retain their current expiration date. Former 2025 Platinum upgrade certificates will expire February 28, 2026 while former 2026 Platinum upgrade certificates will expire February 28, 2027.

Huaka‘i by Hawaiian is our new benefits program, created exclusively for Hawaii residents. Huaka‘i refers to a journey with purpose, and offers exclusive travel benefits, including one free checked bag and quarterly fare discounts on Neighbor Island flights, as well as access to monthly network-wide fare deals. When our two programs come together on October 1, we will also combine your lifetime miles across both programs toward the Million Miler milestone. At that time, if your combined lifetime flown miles balance exceeds 1 million miles, you will immediately become eligible for Million Miler benefits. In the meantime, any Hawaiian flights you credit to Atmos Rewards already count toward Million Miler.

HawaiianMiles will be converted to Atmos Rewards points at a 1:1 ratio. This means that for every HawaiianMiles you have, you'll receive an equivalent number of Atmos Rewards points. You are welcome to convert your HawaiianMiles miles into Atmos Rewards points from now through Sept. 25. Any miles you haven’t converted when HawaiianMiles is combined will be moved over for you. If you already have an Atmos Rewards account, be sure to link your accounts to ensure the most seamless access to your miles during the transition period. If you do not have an Atmos Rewards account, you do not need to create one, as one will be created for you and your miles and status will transfer automatically on Oct. 1.

HawaiianMiles airline partnerships that will discontinue
The last day to book partner award flights with these airlines is June 30, 2025, with travel dates up to Feb. 28, 2026. Members can earn miles with HawaiianMiles partner airlines on flights so long as travel is completed by June 30, 2025.

The last day to redeem HawaiianMiles for Marriott Bonvoy points will be August 20, 2025. Once you’ve linked your HawaiianMiles account to Atmos Rewards, you can continue to earn and transfer Bonvoy points to Atmos Rewards points.
