Located on eight acres in lush Haiku, Maui, Leilani Farm Sanctuary has provided a safe haven for rescued and orphaned farm animals for more than 15 years.
Drop-in visitors can see and pet the sanctuary’s donkeys, goats, pigs, deer, ducks, chickens, bunnies, and other critters, while twice-weekly tours offer a chance to feed and visit with the animals, and learn about farm animal welfare.
For a hands-on experience and to support the sanctuary, sign up as a volunteer to help with weeding, maintenance, cleaning, and other projects. The nonprofit farm now cares for around 230 rescued and orphaned animals.
