Travel requirements can be complex. To help you navigate this important information, we’ve outlined the process for each country Hawaiian Airlines serves. On these pages, you’ll find requirements and travel tips for traveling to and from Hawaiian Islands.
U.S. Domestic travelThere are no travel restrictions for travel into Hawaii from the Continental U.S. as well as travel within the Hawaiian Islands. As of March 26, you no longer need to quarantine, take a COVID-19 pre-travel test or show proof of vaccination. You also do not need to create a trip within the Safe Travels website for your U.S. domestic flights.
Mask policyIn alignment with TSA’s Security Directive, as of April 18, 2022, face masks are now optional for our guests and employees onboard Hawaiian Airlines flights and at most U.S. airports we serve (excluding John F. Kennedy International Airport). For international flights, please keep in mind that masks are still required at all international airports we serve, and certain countries also require that masks are worn in flight as well. We’ve outlined requirements for each country below. Guests who wish to continue wearing face masks are welcome to do so.
