Forego the 10-day self-quarantine by taking an approved pre-travel test
If you’re traveling into or within* the State of Hawaii, you have two options:
- Quarantine: complete the State’s mandatory 10-day self-quarantine
- Take a pre-travel test: forego the quarantine by taking a pre-travel test
- The test must be from a state-approved testing provider
- The test must be administered no more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the final leg to Hawaii
- For trans-pacific travel, test results must be received prior to flight departure
To help you review your options, we’ve organized all of the State’s approved trusted traveling partners by departure city so that you can spend less time worrying about your pre-travel COVID-19 test and more time getting excited for your upcoming trip.
*Inter-island travelers arriving on Oahu do not need to quarantine or take a pre-travel test. Travel testing program requirements for inter-island travel vary by county. Learn more.
